Collaboration Is Key: Smart Growth America & CityHealth

Collaboration is a core value here at Forever Ready Productions and we saw that lived out in its truest form in December and January. The perfect project unfolded for us when Smart Growth America needed a video series produced in a short amount of time.  Have no fear!  Our journalist approach and ability to break down a complex topic made this collaboration a perfect fit! 

In December and January our Memphis team traveled to Pittsburgh and Tucson and our Chicago team traveled to Louisville.  Each crew was tasked with sharing how the local government collaborated with community organizations and activists to form a complete streets policy.  The goal: inspire other cities to adopt a Complete Streets Policy and make streets safer for all. 

Over the course of eight weeks we shot and edited three short documentaries.  Each city has its own unique story and is on its own journey to roll out Complete Streets. You can watch the series here:

We’re proud of this project because it was a collaboration across several national nonprofits and all of our team.  It’s an example of how we can work together, quickly, to tell a complex story.
