Owner & Master of Storytelling

Lauren spent the first part of her career in TV journalism, with posts in Omaha, Nebraska and Dubuque, Iowa before arriving in Memphis.

Ultimately, WMC Action News 5 brought Lauren and husband Scott to Memphis. And it was here that Lauren found her passion for telling the stories she does now, as owner and master storyteller for Forever Ready Productions.

It’s this background in reporting — where production happens fast and complex human stories are at the center — that gives Forever Ready its unique creative edge. Lauren’s specialty is taking moments of human experience and turning them into dynamic and compelling short videos.

Lauren’s vision for storytelling is at the heart of all Forever Ready productions.

She created the Emmy-nominated video featuring a former Regional One Health patient who, after a tough battle against near death, was reunited with his doctors and nurses who saved his life. (Watch here.)

She directed the team-wide production of 2018 Indie Memphis winner “You Must Believe,” which took home the Audience Choice award in the Hometowner Documentary Short category.

Additionally, her time in TV journalism led to numerous pieces of award-winning content.

Lauren is an Iowa native and a graduate of Loras College. As you get to know the Forever Ready team, you’ll learn that she’s not the only Loras College alum! As just one way to pay forward the enriching experience she had at her college, she has recruited and hired other video artists from Loras — Julie and Brody.

Lauren and Scott live in Midtown with their son, Max.
