Forever Ready receives Four 2016 MarCom Awards
Forever Ready Productions is honored to be recognized, once again, with MarCom Awards this year: one Platinum, two Gold and one Honorable Mention. MarCom Awards is an international creative competition for any individual or company involved in the concept, writing and design of print, visual, audio and web materials and programs.
We received a Platinum Award for our video work on an event recap video with the Brooks Museum in Memphis. The video highlights the museum's kick off "Party For The Century" for their year long 100-year celebration.
We also received two Gold Awards for our #ContagiousGiving series. #ContagiousGiving is a monthly, pro-bono series featuring a person or organization doing something 'contagious' that is inspiring others to join their cause.
The first featured a story about a boy with autism who volunteers with the Mid South Food Bank (in partnership with Volunteer Odyssey).
The second about the Carpenter Art Garden Bike Shop. It's a story that we followed during the summer of 2016 and plan to tell in a longer story once the program is complete.
Finally, judges awarded an Honorable Mention for the work with Front Door for a video that was featured on their Facebook page. The video almost instantly helped Front Door find new customers across the country and racked up more than 80,000 views.
This year's awards marks the second consecutive year of recognition of Forever Ready by MarCom. In 2015, we won three total awards, one each in Platinum, Gold, and Honorable Mention categories.
MarCom Awards recognizes outstanding achievement by creative professionals involved in the concept, direction, design and production of marketing and communication materials and programs. Entries come from corporate marketing and communication departments, advertising agencies, PR firms, design shops, production companies and freelancers. Judges are industry professionals who look for companies and individuals whose talent exceeds a high standard of excellence and whose work serves as a benchmark for the industry.
